2. Ambolgad Beach
Ambolgad is a village in Rajapur Taluka in Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra State, India. It is near Nate. Ambolgad Beach is an immaculate beach with blue waters. A nice, silent, and calm place to enjoy holidays.
A must-go place if you are visiting Konkan. Also, one can enjoy ferry rides in Sakhari Nate backwaters. Nate is centrally located between Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. Ambolgad is around 55 kms from Ratnagiri.

3. Ganeshgule Beach
Ganeshgule Beach is a beautiful beach situated at Ganeshgule village in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. It is situated at a distance of 21KM from Ratnagari.
Ganeshghule Beach Is well-known for its clear sunset perspective. Hills surround the shore on both sides. The rugged, white sand territory and crystal clear sea of Ganeshgule Beach is an idyllic holiday retreat for everyone. This shore also has many water sport activities such as snorkeling, diving, parasailing, and surfing. Tourists can even enjoy boat riding when visiting this shore.
One can also visit the historical Ganeshgule Temple situated 1.5 kilometers from the beach. Many pilgrims from the Konkan region visit this temple.
4. Guhagar Beach
Only six hours from Mumbai, Guhagar Beach is ideal for your weekend escape. It’s located in the coastal area of Maharashtra, also called the Konkan coast. This gorgeous white sandy beach isn’t much known by the people up to now.
Guhagar is well-known for its pristine shore, tropical fruits such as Alphonso mangoes, cashew nuts, and jackfruits, and if you’re a foodie you’ll be able to enjoy tasty Konkani cuisine too. Guhagar is also famous for Durga Devi and Vyadeshwar Temple.
5. Aare Ware Beach
Aare ware are the twin beaches separated by a section of the hill. The beaches are named after the name of village Aare and vare. It’s an untouched beach situated at a distance of 14 km from Ratnagiri. This beach is located towards Ganpatipule from Ratnagiri town.
It’s one of the cleanest beaches in Konkan, and one can get some beautiful views of mesmerizing water hitting the hill. There’s a point known as aare ware viewpoint where one can experience a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea on the top of the hill.
6. Devgad Beach
Situated on the Arabian Sea coast in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, Devgad Beach is a serene and peaceful beach located in the Devgad town of Sindhudurg district. The beach is covered with hills and greenery and blessed with the marvelous beauty of sparkling blue waters and white sand.
In addition to that, close to the beach is the incredible Devgad Fort. The cherry on the top can also experience a fantastic view of the towering lighthouse and windmill. You can also enjoy the view of ships passing by. The nearest railway station to reach Devgad is Kankavali on Konkan Railway.
7. Kunkeshwar Beach
16 km from Devgad and 60 km from Kankavali, Kunkeshwar is located in the Sindhudurg district. Kunkeshwar Beach is among the most popular beaches in the Sindhudurg area because of the long seashore and sand. Touched to the seashore, among the early temples of Kunkeshwar, devotees from all around Maharashtra come to visit Lord Shiva at the festival Of Mahashivratri.
If you intend to go by the driveway, you will encounter Kunkeshwar coastal regions having a gorgeous view of the Arabian sea. The closest railway station is Kankavali on Konkan Railway.
8. Nivati Beach
Nivati is one of the very mesmerizing beaches in the whole Konkan area. The Nivati beach is undoubtedly the most crucial attraction in Nivati.

10. Vengurla Beach
Vengurla is a town situated in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. Vengurla is known for its excellent white sand and clear beaches, ancient temples, and forts. Close to the Vengurla beach, Vengurla Lighthouse is a dreamy place for each one of us.
One can also climb to the top of the lighthouse and experience a fascinating view of the ocean. The town also has many ancient temples such as Shri Sateri, Shri Rameshwar Shri Navadurga, Shri Mauli Shri Vetoba, Shri Rampurush, Shri Ganesh, and Shri Ravalnath.
